It's been over one year and four months since I left dA. And today, while looking through some old files, I was reminded of this place. The wonderful, beautiful people I left behind, and the love of writing I once held onto. I don't know where I've been exactly. My muses have been very quiet.

But....

I wrote today. For the first time in a long time, I wrote something just for pleasure- something that was not a research paper, or an essay. And it felt so good.

I won't be here everyday. Or even every week, most likely. But I won't be quite so distant as I have been. Aly is slowly returning, at least a little bit.

So, I've been gone quite a bit lately. First I have to apologize to anyone who follows DisPoe. I have been a bad admin. When I took over, I was writing every day, full of confidence and ideas, and not in college.

I am so sorry. I have been neglecting you all, to an extent that is unpardonable. I love you all, please believe me. Those of you who have known me during the last couple of years, even dating back to when I was a-broken-soul, know that you all are a part of me. It was you all who kept me alive during the worst and hardest years of my life.

And so, it is with a heavy heart, that I apologize again. I am not going to be around very much anymore. I haven't written just for the joy of it in months, and with my schedule I am unable to keep up here. I will be handing DisPoe over, as soon as I confer with Alex to figure out the best way to go about it. I thought I would be able to manage it, but I can't. College has been filling up my time, and leading me in other directions.

So I guess that's it. I love you all, I'm sorry. I may pop in once in a while, but it's not likely. Maybe someday, off in the future, I'll be back, writing again, leaving comments on all of your pages, but today is not that day. Know that you all have become very close to my heart, and a part of my soul. I will really, sincerely, truly, miss you. You made me who I am, and I can't thank you enough for your love. I wish I could say more.

Hey guys.

I've been neglecting you all lately, and for that I am sorry. I feel like I'm drowning right now. College is a lot more work than I bargained for. I'm behind on homework, behind with DistinctPoetry, there's just so much to do and so little time to do it. I may end up pulling an all-nighter to get all of my work done. It never ends. I'm going to have to be sucking down coffee all day tomorrow just to stay awake. To top it off, I feel like...I'm in a daze right now, just wandering around,not quite sure what to do, even though I have so much work ahead of me.

Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
